Hey there, mama!


Welcome to Mama Simpatico! Let me tell you a little bit about how it all started. Mama Simpatico is deeply rooted in my own personal motherhood journey. When I found out I was expecting my second baby girl back in 2017, I knew I wanted to make some changes from my first postpartum experience.

You see, the possibility of facing postpartum depression and anxiety again was very real for me. But this time around, I wanted to be more self-aware and proactive in taking care of myself. So, I set out on a mission to find new ways to support myself.

I scribbled down systems to track my wellness habits, create new routines and schedules, communicate effectively with my husband, and keep an eye on my overall well-being. It was like chicken scratch magic! I learned mindfulness, and it became my #1 tool for managing stress and finding more happiness.

Mindfulness became a game-changer for me. It showed me how to navigate difficult moments, find empowerment amidst chaos, and experience more joy in motherhood.

It also dawned on me that self-care wasn't just a luxury; it was an essential part of being the best mom I could be. How could I show up as a supermom if I was constantly overwhelmed and running on empty? Taking care of myself became a top priority because when mama's tank is full, everyone benefits!

With a willingness to grow and learn personally, combined with my passion for wellness in motherhood and my love for planning and organizing (thanks to my regular teacher gig), the idea of creating a motherhood wellness planner and other self-care tools came alive.

I designed the planners and started using them myself. Alongside mindfulness practices and meditation, I began feeling more connected with myself than ever before. And you know what? My relationship with my daughters and husband deepened too! Who would have thought?

As fate would have it, an opportunity came knocking – the chance to train as a mindfulness teacher with Dr. Elisha Goldstein. I felt called to share the incredible benefits of mindfulness with fellow mamas. So, I dove in headfirst and earned my certification as a mindfulness teacher.

Now, my mission is to share these tools that have brought me so much support and structure in integrating an authentic and joyful motherhood experience into my life. I'm dedicated to helping moms thrive through the power of mindfulness.
